John Ollom's "The Journey"
PRISMATIC PRODUCTIONS, INC. PRESENTS JOHN OLLOM’S “THE JOURNEY”
After a soldout production in 2002, Prismatic Productions, Inc. presents a new production of John Ollom’s “The Journey”,
May, 8, 15, & 22, at 8 PM and May 16, 22, & 23, at 3 PM, at Clark Studio Theater, The Samuel B. and David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza.
John Ollom’s “The Journey” is not just another coming out story. It is a pivotal piece for all men and women.
This unique three-part ballet performance piece tells the story of a bisexual man, JC, caught between two worlds. Struggling between the expectations of a heterosexual and a homosexual culture, JC is left feeling void of meaning until he witnesses people authentically living their lives and, as a result, becoming victims of hate crimes.
Witnessing these tragedies, he courageously chooses to celebrate his own gifts and the diversity of others.
